Warning: Equifax Punishments

Hello, I'd like to warn you about punishments dished out by Equifax.
I signed up for Equifax with their free trial and called up to cancel. The cancellation was not put through and I was charged at the next billing date.
After challenging this and asking for a refund, which was refused, Equifax have decided to "permanently lock" my account and never again allow me to access - even through paying for - their credit report service online. I am not even allowed to access the statutory £2 report and must pay £3.50 to get a report sent to my postal address.
If you dispute with Equifax they will punish you by permanently locking you out of their online service, refusing your statuatory report and charging £3.50 for a report to be sent by post only

So is it Experian or Equifax? You seem a little confused (maybe you'll add another edit to include CallCredit).
Doesn't matter anyway, since you can still get both statutory reports for £2. You just haven't figured out how yet.

Equifax sorry, how do I get the £2 statutory report from Equifax when they refuse point blank to send it as my account has been permanently locked?0 -
They can't stop you seeing your £2 statutory credit report, again you say Experian and Equifax, they are 2 different companies. Apply for your £2 report and you'll get it, nothing else to discuss.0

You don't need an "account", just the ability to write a letter or complete and print/post a form.Equifax sorry, how do I get the £2 statutory report from Equifax when they refuse point blank to send it as my account has been permanently locked?
All the information you need is on their website under "statutory report".0 -
Isn't 'punishments' a gross misuse of the English language?
If you've cancelled your account you are not entitled to benefit from it0 -

They will not allow you to create a new one, they will not allow you to order the statutory report(this may be illegal yes?), they will post a report to you for £3.50
They do this because you disputed being charged despite it not being refunded
Punishment: Noun: A penalty inflicted as retribution0 -
