PCN Luton

Hi,

I received a PCN from APCOA at Luton airport. I used your template letter which I found on this site and didn't receive anything back from them for a while. Today I received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd. asking for £130.00 parking charge.
What is your advice please?
They didn't give me a POPLA ref number or even replied to my appeal.

Was it for stopping and dropping off passengers in a no stopping area or did you park too long in the drop off area?

Get yourself into the Parking Tickets Forum and read the Newbies Sticky carefully. It has all the info you need to see them-off.

They tried to do me with this photo. Those moving headlights at the top of the photo was meant to be me. The best bit was that the photos show a moving vehicle. After a couple of complaints to the airports facebook page the charge was dropped due to technical reasons.

There are enough signs there that prohibit picking up and dropping off passengers on the road and roundabout but some people just carry on regardless despite the high profile presence of a car with a camera symbol that parks up by the entrance to the bus station.

This is what I have at this point. The letter attached is the last i received a few days ago.

Some extra info: I received the first letter and Replied to it as I read once on the forum but unfortunately I didn't send it recorded.

The attached letter is the second I got from DRP. I did read the newbies sticky but I am not sure what to do at this point.

Could you please advise?
