I would love to join please!
My biggest weakness is that we have a costa at work with reduced prices! Mochas every morning. I have replaced these with Nescafe sachets so saving already!

Add me in - 19 for me as I have a day off on Friday - other than that if I am here I do NOT want to be buying lunch
I already have a stock of homemade soups in my freezer with hunks of bread cut up and in plakky bags ready to be pulled out and taken with me.
I also do fridge oats - some of you may be interested in this as it is a quick, no cook, super tasty solution to breakfast. Far nicer than the sachets of instant porridge that I used to eat
Let me see if I can find a link - linkee
Basically I bung some oats, milk, greek yogurt in a tupperware container (I also put in Aldi's linseed but that's just me) lob in some blueberries (or whatever fruit takes your fancy). Make it quite sloppy because by the morning the oats will have absorbed the milk/yog. Super tasty, really good for you, filling and only takes a minute the night before. You can even make a few portions and just add the fruit as and when you're ready to eat it. I make mine every evening though, it's really no hassle.

Hi Everyone
Welcome to the new people, I have added you all up to here.
A special welcome to JustStartingOut, as I see you are new to the forum. Welcome aboard the MSE train, prepare to become addicted! The same goes for Snowfox and sailaversus.
Great to see you all eating your lunches, whether at home or work. I had my parsnip soup and it was really yummy. For dinner tonight I had duck with sweet potatoes, so I did an extra leg, which I will strip and add to a salad tomorrow for lunch
Do any of you make extra dinners so that you can have leftovers for lunch?0 -
I have made chicken, bacon and mayo roll for tomorrow, also taking some fruit for eating in the library whilst studying.Saving for Xmas 2015 #84 £163.00 ~ £365

Day #1 done here as well! :beer:WantToBeSE wrote: »Do any of you make extra dinners so that you can have leftovers for lunch?
I do, whenever I make pasta or chilli or something similar, I make an extra (smaller) portion to take into work the next day or day after.
For example tonight I made creamy pasta with leeks and kale, had plenty left over so that's sitting in the fridge now and will make a tasty lunch tomorrow.0
