Do you have a pc (with speakers & mic)/tablet/smartphone - and access to reasonable wifi?
If you install Skype and set up a pay-as-you-go account, you can call UK landline numbers for 1.8p per minute. (Calling the UK is the same price from anywhere in the world.)
