I have just been advised that my sky account is out of contract what is the best way to get a good deal as am surprised no call up from SKy

As the advised as it live account it will continue to be charged as monthly charge

Cancel.

Sky won't simply call you up and offer you a good deal while you're still a paying subscriber. They will assume you're happy to continue paying the price.

If you want a better deal you need to put in a cancellation request. They might offer you something at that point but they will likely offer something better once your Sky TV service ends 31 days after the cancellation request is submitted.

You are not out of contract. You are out of minimum term, so the contract continues until you give 30 days notice.
