Yeah thankyou Hypno, I'm all better now ;)
Forgot to mention my Thorntons order arrived today (ordered over the weekend when mse was down) ... I'm soooo impressed with it, each box was £5.95 instead of £11.95 and I also got a free big box of continental choccies ... now I've just got to be a good bunny and not eat them before xmas :o:D:D

now that would just be impossible for me! There is no way I could keep thorntons chocolates in the house for a whole 7 weeks

Me neither. I need to buy new sweets for the Operation Christmas child shoeboxes as I ate the ones I bought...and I bought them only last week. Will buy more at the weekend and then send the boxes straight into school.

    Just a quick post ... had a great day today mse-wise ....

    1. My topcashback has finally changed to payable so this morning I put in a claim for it (£80), so hopefully will get that some time this month

    2. Had a letter back from tax credits saying they are increasing my monthly payments by £55 starting from this week :j :j

    3. I got 2 x £2 for my piggy today ;)

I really must sort out my money this weekend and get on top of all my budgets and everything. I've got to get ready now for ds school disco ... hopefully I might get to hat with his teacher whil I'm there and see how he's getting on and I might also see who some of his friends are ;):D

Promose I'll do a proper update ver the weekend, I just feel really lost at the moment with my finances and I need to get it under control again :D

I have spent the last hour sorting out all my accounts and its not as bad as first thought, well it was bad but its just about sorted ;) ....

I have moved all the monies necesary between accounts and basically, what it now means is my main account is overdrawn by £365   BUT ..... this money can be recovered from ...
    • £206 from backdated pay from work
    • £104 money from AQA
    • £55 extra payment from tax credits
My bills account is overdrwn by £70 but, my expected money to go towards my mortgage overpayments this month is £265, so I will put £200 t the mortgage fund and the remainder to the bills account, so hopefully, at the end of the month all my accounts will be back to zero and the mortgage pot will have the expected amount in it too ;):D

Any money I make from AQA in November can go towards next months mortgage overpayment (or xmas:rolleyes: ). I am happy as I feel like I'm starting the month with a clean slate again although, this close to xmas, there is a lot of potential to go pear-shaped :o:o

I have also gone through my xmas stuff and made a list of what I still need to get and its not quite as bad as I previously thought ;):D I am gonna go shopping tomorrow once ds has gone to his dads. I reckon I still need to spend approx £200 (plus bits for ds). I know this sounds a lot, but I still have £235 in xmas account as well as £90 john lewis vouchers, £57 bonusbonds vouchers, £20 argos vouchers, £10 boots vouchers, £40 theatre tokens, so at the end of the year I will wither stick my remaining vouchers on eby and bank the money, or leave whatevers left over in the account to start off the present fund for 2008.

I would leave the rest in the 2008 account - what better than to start off the year with a "positive xmas balance"!!

    Have a good weekend x
