Hi Benben
Glad to see you sound a bit more upbeat today. We all have our off days I suppose and its good you seem to have bounced back. Your son sounds like he has turned a corner at school, is he still in another class? Maybe it was the teacher he clashed with?
Well done with the ebay so far.. I'm so embarrassed that I STILL have not pulled my finger out with the ebaying!!!

Thanks guys
KM, he has gone back into his original class at school after the holidays, if he misbehaves he will go back in another class again  The problem seems to be he is too attached to his teacher and doesn't want to share her with the other kids

I managed to do the whole dvd :j :j I must admit though, its not a mad, burn those calories type dvd, its Gabby Logans one, and its all stretching and working on core muscles in the stomach and the back. I can't do a noisy jump around kinda dvd because I have people living downstairs so it wouldn't be fair
but I do feel quite virtuous for having done it
, I had a quick shower after and am just off to bed now as I have been waking up at 6am; I don't close the blinds in my room (I have 2 velux windows), so I am waking up to natural sunlight which always puts me in a better mood than the old alarm clock going off  It does mean I'm up and about early which means I'm shattered and need an early night

Morning all, I got £10 from a survey site today that I've been waiting ages for, so that was a nice surprise
I can feel my muscles aching a bit this morning so I hope that means I did some good last night

Hi BenBen
I've just spent the last few evenings reading the whole of your thread and you've really given me the confidence to know that I will be able to cope as a single mum to DS (aged 3), working full time and paying a mortgage :j
My DP decided to leave at Easter so it's all still a bit new and raw and I've been doing budgets all the time working out how I'll manage. I've listed stuff on ebay and Amazon, signed up for daily clicks, got my surveys going again and spoken to the tax credit people. So I'll be following your progress with interest - thanksCos I don't shine if you don't shine.0 -

Today I've been on another training course which was really interesting and meant a day out of school tooI was supposed to take ds to his swimming lesson tonight but there was so much traffic on the way back from the course that we wouldn't have got there in time so we had to give it a miss  but still, its the weekend now so we've got a couple of days of relaxing
I spent £28 on petrol this morning, I had to fill up to get to the course but I can claim it all back from workThey took us to the pub for lunch which was lovely.
Hi BB - Got the laptop and getting connected on Friday (hopefully) so all being well I'll be here for a chat fri night if you're around...
Paultons Park - let me know when you'd like to come.... we're organising a family day out there on the 16th August, going to get group rates, so works out £12pp instead of £16pp, if you want to join in let me know... or is that too far away to wait til you see me again??
Sorry you were down the other day...hugs.... xxxx I get days like that too xx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Morning all ... last night I let ds go on the cbeebies website while I got dinner, by the time I got back to the computer it had had some kind of malfunction and wouldn't let me log on. I spent 4 hours trying to sort it, and ended up having to set up a new user account and copy and paste EVERYTHING over to it from here; all my documents, photos, favourites, stuff for AQA, everything!!! Aaaagh !!!!
I was just pleased it hadn't lost everything totally, although I still need to set up my emails and stuff like that again  So, all my plans for last night went out the window. I did manage to get my dvd done again though before all this happened :j :j and I am planning on using the school gym after school tonight, as long as theres no big scary sixth-formers in there:rotfl:

Well I persuaded a friend from school to come with me into the gym, we were the only ones in there which was great as we didn't really know what we were doing
I did 5 minutes on the bike to warm up, then 10 minutes on the cross-trainer thing, then we faffed for a bit trying to figure out what to do with those big bouncy ball things  , spent 5 minutes trying to find the music channel on the tv in there, then realised it was time to go and collect ds
So, all in all, not a huge amount of exercise but it was a start
Today I have spent €1.90 on lunch (sorry, pound sign not working again yet, still got a few hiccups with the laptop  )Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
