Hi, I've been reading bits and bobs of your thread and wondered if you could explain about the quidco that you and others mention. I've recently separated from my hubby and really could do with keeping a tighter rein on my money and getting any extra i can! Thanks...No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30

if you have a look on the referrers board there is a whole thread there about quidco and it is updated with curren offers. Basically it is a cashback site ... if you are going to buy anything onine check there first ... you just sign in and then go through to the site you wanted via tham and they track that you have been there and then the site you go to pays quidco for introducing you, and they pass that on to you! You don't always have to buy something, oten you can get money for signing up for a newsletter etc (make sure you have a speare email acount set up ready for any spam!)
It is well worth joining, there is a fair bit of money to be had!!Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Morning all ... today we have been to ds football lesson (£3.20) and I also signed him up for his swimming lessons at long last
They cost £32 for the next 7 weeks and then another £17 for 4 sessions in half-term. His nan gave me £50 for it so that works out nicely
Then we went to the farm shop and spent £13 on fruit/veg/meat/eggs and then stopped off at Tesco for other bits and spent £31 there  This was a bit higher than budget but I need to get used to shopping in 2 different places
When we got back we went to the library to pick up the trinny and susannah books I ordered which cost me £2.55 for ordering them in  We're just having lunch then we're off to see a pantomime with ds classI bought some popcorn in tesco so we're not tempted by the silly prices at the theatre

Back from the panto, it was really good and ds was fairly well behaved, he got a bit bored towards the end (2.5 hours  ) but generally he was good
I spent £2.80 on the car park  , £1.50 on a programme and £2.25 on a happy meal afterwards for his tea ... I had planned to do dinner but we didn't get in till 6 and by the time I'd got it ready he would be asleep
I've also chucked a couple of £2 coins in the terramundi today too. I think I've got £10 of 20p's now in a different pot so I will change it up and then decide whether to (a) put it in the terramundi (b) put it in the mortgage fund (c) put it towards my Next accountI guess (c) is the sensible answer but I'm tempted to go for (b)

Thanks BenBen. I did the initial joining questionnaire the other day but for some reason it is asking me to do it again when I log in. Oh well, will do it again and see what happens. Hope you got the referral points.0 -
