Accident this morning
I've just skidded in the snow/ice coming out my street and crashed into a parked caravan.
I have a company car but the neighbour with the caravan has no insurance for it.
Will my company policy cover the damage to the caravan given that it was my fault ?
Worried

I really hope your right
I can't afford to be paying out for the repairs but morally I would feel compelled to.0 -

@OP - Your only costs will be the insurance excess assuming that you are properly insured.0

Was the caravan on the road?0
;67597032]Eh? For a third-party claim?
Presumably there's damage to the OP's car therefore there may be excess to pay, although I'm not sure how it works with company cars/insurance, ie, who pays the excess.0

Not legal advice but just..... well done for taking one off the roads.0

You and many others might not like them, but if that's someone's pride and joy that's not a very charitable point of view.
How would you feel if it was your car being hit by someone who couldn't control their car in wintry conditions?0 -
Assuming it is your fault, ie you were driving in an unreasonable manor for the road conditions, then the insurer of your vehicle will cover the damages you caused to the other parties.0
