my DIL is sort of the typical person this programme is aimed at. she could easily spend £200+ in Hasda a week. BUT - its the way she was brought up - she couldn't boil an egg and had never even tasted potatoes which had been oven baked or didn't come out of a packet. She has slowly got better at cooking over the years - but, I think she could reduce her food bills a lot more by not impulse buying and sticking to a list. I think its people like her the programme is aimed at - not us OldStylers. Still, I could think of lots of ways the programme could be improved.0

I've just been tweeting along with the show. Most people's reactions? Horror at the thought of spending £350 a week on food. Or going to the shops 17 times per week.
I will say that neither this family or the one last week seem to have money problems due to their spending on food so they are obviously high income folk who have just never needed to worry." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

At the amount they're spending?
Yes on horrid food too. I'm also amazed that the programme is called 'EAT WELL' and all they replaced was processed food, so it's not really eating well is it? Frozen pizzas, sausage on baps etc, the kids didn't seem to be offered much veg other than carrot sticks. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
No wonder she didn,t have time to cook - 17 trips to the supermarket takes up alot of time.
£350 a week *faints*Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I suppose one thing they have done both weeks is to show how going for the cheaper option in the case of concentrated OJ last week and pasta sauce this week, were both better health wise than the cheaper brands. So in that sense they are showing how to eat well on less. But agree it's hardly super useful." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Am I the only one who was getting annoyed at "the one that's not Greg" doing his mock-horror about the sugar in the pasta sauces as the nice-but-dumbed-down nutritionist spooned out the white heroin onto a saucer?
