    I had a similar issue with Paragon, it was a none standard construction issue, 'wimpy fines' property. I simply changed mortgage providers, who valued it slightly higher than I expected and it went through without an issue!


    either I didn't tell the broker properly or they made a mistake, as it was the extra valuation, and therefore release, more than compensated for the initial 'property un mortgagable ' shock !


    if you think its worthwhile, go back to the estate agents (if you used any) and get them to push it, after all they lose on the commission sales if it doesn't go through.


    ps, I think we used Birmingham midshires in the end !!
