Huawei repair centre uselessness; what to do next

I have a Huawei Ascend Mate phablet in the second year of it's two year warranty.

It has developed a fault where I can't be heard by the other party during a phone call if I enable speaker phone; suggesting something along the lines of a hardware fault with a secondary microphone.

I've now send the phone into Huawei for a repair under warranty, three times; each time losing the phone for a few weeks while they prattle about, and having to live with an utterly awful phone I bought on ebay for £30 to tide me over. This whole endevour has now stretched out to two months.

On the first two occasions, they returned the phone stating no fault had been found. It's just been returned from it's third trip with a letter saying that the fault has been rectified, but it has not.

I filed a complaint to their UK customer services before I sent it for the third round of not being repaired; and they have ignored me completely.

Clearly I can't just keep sending the phone in for three weeks of not being repaired over & over again until the warranty expires.

Where do I stand legally with this and what should I do next?

I don't think that there is a "secondary microphone" in the phone.

Re the legalities, AFAIK, manufacturers' warranties is a grey area. SoGA determines the supplier's obligations - that's why it's recommended to deal with the supplier, not the manufacturer. Possibly it's not too late yet to go this route. You have to prove that the fault wasn't a result of damage or misuse, but your correspondence with the manufacturer can possibly serve as the proof.
