Renaming "Gambling Introductory Offer Loopholes" and making it non-googleable

I would like to suggest renaming and toggling the google privacy flag on that particular forum.
For one, I believe it should be renamed from "Gambling Introductory Offer Loopholes" to "Bookmaker Introductory Offer Loopholes" ... if for no other reason than to remove the 'evil g word' but to also present it better.
Secondly, and more important to correct, is that at present MSE is in the top 10 hits on google for searching many bookie names. This has recently caused one bookie to join and post on MSE threatening account closure and funds seizure on any MSE member caught and/or traced to the referrals subboard on a refer and split basis as it was a no-brainer for them to figure out where the sudden influx of new accounts/etc were coming from thanks to the google indexing.
Many/most bookies have clauses in their T&Cs allowing them to void wagers which appear to be syndicate patterned and would be difficult to argue the toss with IBAS or such which would of course be detrimental to the overall approach were it to happen.
The former is arguably purely semantics but the latter only serves to undermine the purpose behind the forum's existence if it effectively opens up participants to inadvertent closures/forfeitures ...

I agree with this completely, as it is we know bookies check IP details and it doesn't take much effort on the bookies behalf to find out exactly where someone got referred from, and then placed a bet. Match them together and you know you have a matched better. I would suggest that all new replies and new posts on that forum should be HTML disabled as this would prevent direct links to bookies sites from appearing.553780080

Can I please support this? You can see why from my signature...0

I think the proposed changes make a lot of sense0

Fully agreed with all the above. Also would be an idea to make the matched betting forum visible only to logged in users, similar to how it works on Rpoints.0

But unfortunatley this Idea has been rejected many times before.....So I've been doing some volunteer work for the
samaritans.
Tried to phone in sick the other day but
they talked me out of it.0 -
huh?
hmmm some of you gambling lot are not only greedy for some quick money but also selfish - you don't want anyone to google and anyone else find tips ehPerhaps you forgot how you wandered into MSE and how you benefited from this very same board you now do not wish that it be open to others anymore - well my thoughts on this the more exposure MSE has to outsiders the more people would join and the more for you all to share and improvise on your ehem gambling skills.
I'm not trolling before anyone accuses - to me it seems like this greed is making everyone be unbelievably obsessed
I'm in a moodto explore the three roots of evil as I'm utterly fascinated with the Buddha - greed in wants that are never ending - ill-will in envying others benefiting - delusion in protectionism and serving self-interests.
finallynow for a piece of advice from humble me - if you want to be rich be an investor and not a speculator :cheesy:
hope that helped0 -
