We split in May after a very horrendous time for myself and the kids and putting that aside we have moved on and the kids and myself are far happier but my ex pays no child support at all.
He is living with some frinds in the 2nd most expensive area of the city we live in, goes to college 2 days per week and works the rest.
He goes out drinking at the weekends, to the pub, out for meals, clubbing etc (is it still called clubbing, i wanted to put disco:o).
He has just got a new VW golf and yet claims he cant afford to pay me any money for the kids, he also is refusing to pay off any of our jint debts leaving me liable for them.
Im on mat leave at the moment but I work full time, and really struggle to scrape the pennies together to pay for travel to work etc, the car died a few months back and went to the breakers to be scrapped.
The CSA (or whatever they are called) wont chase him for the money as he is a 'student' at college and apparently are not allowed to ask him for anything while he is classed as a student.
Im just so cross that he is able to have his cake and eat it and me and the kids are left short each month- selling things to make ends meet and clear the debts:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Im so sorry for the rant i just needed to vent somewhere.
thanks lovelies

That's awful! i'm a dad to 2 gorgeous boys, I see them as much as I can and things are great NOW.
It wasn't always like that, my ex really went to town on me and took every penny she could. At the time it was really bad but now i'm really glad she did it. In return she never denied access and my relationship with my kids remained solid.
He will regret his decisions one day, I know that doesn't help you now but he is going to loose out!
My heart really goes out to you. I really take offence to absent dads that don't pay towards their children.I am a Mortgage Broker
