This thread on pepipoo seems to hint that Hounslow eventually managed to get around the issue without changing the wording?

Sorry if I'm missing something, but why are you doing your damnedest to find reasons to NOT appeal this and get it killed off?0
-
Because if I am genuinely wrong, then I'll pay. I don't have a problem with paying when I've done wrong. I have a problem with injustice.
The main thing I'd personally question is that the signs in the street are placed in a deceiving manner, but I doubt I have ground to argue that case formally.
Regarding the potential issue with the invalidity of the ticket, I am happy to appeal if the ticket is genuinely invalid.
I basically just like to make sure I have a valid and just reason to do something.
Not sure that's our topic though. Thanks for your interest in my motives, nonetheless.0 -
As I said I post on pepipoo (as SchoolRunMum) and have NEVER seen Hounslow take a case to adjudication in this scenario, IMHO they've always cancelled when people include the flaw in their appeal.
I would. What's not to like? It's not a huge risk after all! Just don't use it as your only appeal point, so have you posted your ticket up in a new pepipoo topic yet? You could do with their input.Regarding the potential issue with the invalidity of the ticket, I am happy to appeal if the ticket is genuinely invalid.
How about checking the Council's publicised Traffic Order, does it match those bays?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

How do I check that?
Also, how do I proceed with the appeal, now that they've already replied to my first appeal?
Thanks!0 -
You ask the Council for the Order if it's not obviously linked in their website.
You can send a reply now adding your extra points (you are allowed any amount of first challenges) or wait for the NTO.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
