How can I go about leasing a used van for my new company?

Why leasing? Lack of capital? If so, fair enough. If not, could be better in the long run to by a used van. Even if buying involved HP so you own it at the end.
Finance companies don't like new Ltd companies so often ask for a personal guarantee. The guarantor will be credit checked etc.
Lack of capital was one reason.
I also just felt that I could get a decent looking vehicle that way. I presumed that a presentable van would cost quite a lot... I guess that's the same thing really ;-)+1
I'd be buying a used transit. You can buy something usable from £1,000 up
I've had two or three small vans and never spent more than about £600 but had very presentable vehicles.
Hmmm... If I did buy something, I would probably spend a bit more... 2000, maybe even up to 3000. What would you recommend for that price range, mate?0 -

Doesn't matter, think I might have read your question in a different context to that intended0 -

It's a dangerous price range for a used van. Van prices are sky high at the moment.0 -
I've spoken to a few leasing companies about this cos one of my mates who just started a building firm wanted some nice new vans.
The long and short of it I found was it really depends on which finance company you go through. So Lex Autolease have different ideas as to 'what you need' for a start-up than, say, ALD Automotive do.
I've found some brokers are pretty helpful with stuff, but they dont really like getting vehicles for start-ups as its quite hard.
FYI - I think some leasing companies get like 40% discount on outright purchases on new vans, so you might like to contact a few.0
