Cancel brand new Vodafone contract arranged in store
Hi
So my girlfriend meets up with me tonight and tells me she's got a new phone from the Vodafone store on a 6 month contract. An iPhone 5c in pink. She'd prefer it green, she said, but they only had white and pink and as it was only 6 months for about 30 quid a month so she wasn't fussed.
Really? Was my first thought. I'll just buy one myself and flog it on eBay and you'd make money on it. So we checked the contract. It's not 6 months, it's 24 months.
God knows what they said to her but I'm not happy about it. It's not a bad deal but I figure if she's gonna pay out for a phone for two years she could at least get the one she wants.
Is there any chance of cancelling this, bearing in mind she signed for it in store? Or at the very least change it to the colour she actually wants. There is a 6 month entertainment pack that comes with it that must be the cause of the confusion.
Thanks

Just go back to the store and explain what you want to do, they have a 14 day window to cancel or exchange, don't use the phone until you take it backIt's not just about the money0
