Entrance to the carpark showing small sign on right of gate and even smaller sign on far wall of building above what looks like a fire exit door, at 8:30 pm neither very visable at all
Any advice from here would be very welcome

An IPC member, they don't appear to be invoking keeper liability from the ticket wording.
However the IPC appeals process is a sham, and you won't win, regardless of your watertight case against them.
I would ignore them.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
Tip for the future ... don't try to post the actual image - just post a link to the image. That way the hxxp with IMG tags doesn't look silly.
It also means it doesn't break the forum with posts having huge images in them, nor catch people out by eating their mobile data allowance when they look at a thread. (Manx).0 -

Ignore them or read post #3 of the NEWBIES thread if you want to try an appeal after you get the NTK in the post. You are likely to lose an IAS appeal (= alleged 'kangaroo court' decision). So the reason why we suggest ignoring them is an option, is because it stops people panicking and paying...some people's confidence is knocked when they lose at IAS. Depends what sort of person you are but don't PAY!
If you understand what's involved from reading post #3 of the NEWBIES thread and want to try an appeal knowing it will likely lose, just don't write your own, don't talk about who was driving so nothing like 'I didn't see any signs'! And be ready to ask for help here to write an IAS appeal well, if you want to go thru the motions and try to be a rare winner. Can you get pics in the dark of the lack of readable signs because that could potentially be a winning point. Unlikely but possible if the site really is unclear and you were able to argue that well at IAS stage. You've got weeks to gets pics as the NTK can't be sent until end of Feb/March.
Post #1 of the NEWBIES thread gives you an appeal wording for a registered keeper to send but usually, only when the first letter arrives. Best not to react to any windscreen ticket in most cases unless yours is a company or hired/leased car...unless you weren't driving it's best to keep schtumm, as keeper, until the first letter comes.
To be crystal clear, no-one is telling you to pay this!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Great, thanks everyone for your help. I will keep all the correspondance from them, just going to ignore and wait for the "nasty" letters coming through my door :-)0

Ok, so have i got this right... The address for "northwest parking enforcement ltd" on the PCN i received on my windscreen has an address in carlisle
But the address for "northwest parking enforcement ltd " on the signage in the carpark where i parked is in manchester ??
Does that effect this PCN at all?
Thanks again

Probs one is a physical address for appeals and one is their registered address which isn't for post. Perfectly normal - I am a director of a company which shall remain nameless as I'm not allowed to mention it on this forum - and it's registered in Scotland for various reasons. I live down South in the Chichester/Bognor area and the other Directors are mainly South-ish as well so we couldn't get much further away..and our postal addy is in the midlands! So what I am saying is, a regsitered office isn't the postal address and companies can do this.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
