Thanks Fermi, I agree and reality is dont want to stop paying it and more importantly want to settle but if I can put myself in a better position to settle for less (if they can't produce a CCA) that's my aim really.
I will add in the bit about paying the £10 in the interim whilst they seek out the CCA0 -
So latest is I'm now in reciept of another letter from Robinson Way responding to my request and PO for a copy of my signed credit agreement.
They say they note my letter and are now going to try to obtain what I've requested to prove I'm liable for the debt, in the meantime they say they've placed a hold on my account and thank me for my cooperation.
So the debt is pre 2007 (2004 to be exact) so not sure if they'll come up with the goods or not

Guys
Its now been weeks since I sent the CCA request to Robinson Way and although they replied to thank me for my co-operation and that they'd be seeking the credit agreement I've not heard anything further from them.
Should I chase them? I probably think not as why should I remind them to do their job especially given they are now well outside the agreed timescales to provide me with a signed copy of the CCA
Thanks0 -

Hi,
Just give them time, your agreement remains unenfocable until they respond, they will have to apply to the original creditor for the paperwork, expect this to take at least a month, maybe two, or more.

No news is definitely good news. You have currently put a stop to any activity that they had planned for you, (including repayments) Its their move now.
You are following exactly the right strategy. Once you (hopefully) show it is unenforceable look to settle CHEAP!!!£1000 Emergency fund No90 £1000/1000
LBM 28/1/15 total debt - [STRIKE]£23,410[/STRIKE] 24/3/16 total debt - £7,298

That will all depend if they have a CCA or not, if not, it can't be enforced through the courts, so you could, just walk away and pay nothing, or, offer them £20 to settle, all this is just conjecture until they respond to you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
