Am I right in thinking no agreement, no proof it's my debt?
Not quite. There may be other ways for them to prove you took out the debt and built it up.
However the credit agreement and their response to a request is an issue in whether they can enforce it in court, especially if prior to April 2007, whether they can prove anything else or not.
It can be quite complicated so just see what they come back with, if anything, and let us know. Then we can go from there.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

One thing I forgot to ask the other day is do I have to pay to see a copy of my credit agreement, I've read some articles that say yes and some that say no?
Thanks0 -

On the above sample letter would I be OK to add in something around the fact that they've sent me a letter asking me to pay £10 per month until June (when it will be reviewed) and that as a gesture of goodwill I'm willing to pay that at this stage?0 -

You do whatever you feel is best. I would not suggest you just stop paying at this stage.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
