I don't understand the question - you can't get cash back on credit cards.Stompa0

Sure you can...hence why people use CC and then pay the lump sum of that end of their month.0

GE Money card pays 3% on fuel and food.
Change your credit card? Or phone them up and ask them to donate to charity.0 -
You can when you goto the supermarket!
If the supermarket till operator is awake, they should not be offering cash back on credit cards.
They can offer cash back on debit cards.
If they give you cash on a credit card, they will be charged a percentage on what you receive.
If they give you cash on a debit card, they will pay no more than they would have done on the purchase you make.
Although, if the card company know that it is cash back and not just a purchase (technically they are talking about gift vouchers being included in this), then they will charge you a fee.0 -

True but the till computer reader allways say do you want cash back if you have a credit card.

How do you stop this cash back on a debit card!!!!!?0 -
I used to work in a supermarket (a few moons ago now) but the till would never prompt to ask if the customer wanted cashback when using a credit card, only when using a debit card.
Anyhoo, how long does it take to say no? 0.5 sec? Gives you more time to bag up your stuff. Or when you hand your card over, just say no cashback thanks0 -

I don't believe the till computer ever suggests cash back on credit card transactions. Certainly I've never been offered the service in too many years of using credit cards.
I thought I had explained why in my original post - it costs the retailer. They are paying the card people a percentage fee on the cash you take.0
