Hello,
Just a quick one. We brought a house on 14th November 2014, by the 5th december 2014 we had moved to British Gas for both our gas and electric.
we now have a bill for £91.74 from the older company for the 22days that we were with them.
we used 32 units in Gas and 90 units in electricity.
this seems really high for a 22 day bill?

You would have been on a deemed contract with the old provider.
High prices and high standing charges.0 -

Is the usage in the bill correct?
What does the bill and the tariff actually say about the prices per unit?
I pay £85 p.m. for a small house, so £91 for 22 winter days generally doesn't seem really high for *some* house of unknown size and with unknown energy efficiency.0 -
Were the readings of Nov 14 actual or estimated ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
