Watching BT Sport with BT broadband query

The below is copied from the broadband section from the site.
"- Watch BT Sport via an app or online player. BT broadband customers get BT Sport for 'free', though unless you upgrade to get both superfast and BT TV it's only available via an app (free to download for iPhone and Android), or through online streaming."
I wanted to clarify you need both superfast AND BT TV to be able to view bt sport on your tv?
I was thinking of getting the standard broadband 10gb option and adding on bt tv (as its only the activation fee you pay?) and watching it this way.
Would I need superfast too?
Am I correct in thinking that even if you dont get superfast or bt tv you can stream BT sport online or through mobile and it wont eat into your 10gb data allowance?
Thanks

Hi aussies call, BT TV on a TV is only available via multicast Infinity on superfast broadband. A small number of users are offered it on standard multicast BB if Infinity is not available in their area. BT will tell you what you can get.
Re the app - if you dont have superfast BB or bt tv you can stream BT sport online or through a mobile and it wont eat into your 10gb data allowance if you are using BT WiFi. But if you use your mobiles internet network, it will.
Hope that helps.0 -
Also if you have Sky , and an active Sky viewing card you can get BT Sport via the Sky satellite platform0
