Just having a tea break before carrying on, making progress but it feels like wading through treakle today.

    WM1 blowing on the line.

  • I'm in, although flying suspended because we are having a new fireplace fitted. Old fire is already out and new chimney liner is in place.

Have dispatched DD2's fianc! into York job hunting. Fingers crossed. Agency being very good - they are helping him with his cv today. fingers crossed. And toes. And anything else it is remotely possible to cross.

Love and hugs and spoons to all who are struggling at the moment. Dancemum - hope your aunt is ok. That must have been horrendous...

CY it will be worth it when you have your new fire. Keeping everything crossed for DD2f.

Bit of banking done. Off for another HHC now before I get too comfy

Bird news - I think I have two linnets in my garden.

Yes I have been flying, was washing the bathroom floor when I noticed them out of the window. Need to clear up the mess in the kitchen where the kittens hve knocked plant off the window ledge.

  • Morning flyladies! (flypeople? Do we have any flymen?)

I'm in again :) Thank you to Dusty for starting the thread and Natty for last week's thread

Good luck to your DD2's fianc! CY - hope he finds something soon

Slightly exciting but scary non-flying news: OH and I have a meeting with an independent mortgage adviser on Thursday (eep!). We are in a pretty good position - good-sized deposit, don't spend too much money on frivolous rubbish, saving every month etc - but I am still irrationally scared they will say 'NO MORTGAGE FOR YOU!!' So any calming/positive vibes you could send about 5 PM on Thursday would be great :)
