I already sent an email away to ukpc appealing the fine. The letter already had my name on it as the registered keeper and came to my home address so they know who I am. Should I just ignore everything else? And are you sure this won't affect my credit score?0

Nothing can affect your credit score unless you go to court first, lose, and then don't pay. This isn't going to happen.
The PPC only know the name of the keeper, not the name of the driver who was a different person, weren't they?
If you appealed as keeper then all is OK as long as you didn't identify yourself as the driver. In Scotland and Northern Ireland only the driver is liable so the PPC can only chase the driver, not the keeper.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
