A quick question for you all:

March will be here soon, and I'm thinking of organizing the nsd challenge around a mega skiing holiday,in St. Moritz.Think of the lovely fondue bubbling away, the après-ski guzzling and watching Igor's hilarious attempts to snowboard. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Bjorn again has a friend who owns a chalet there,so we wouldn't be forking out on an expensive hotel.Plus March is a great time for skiing in Europe. What do you think?

    .......
Hmm, I have seen Bjorn's mate's chalet on Twitface and I must say the chalet maid looks a bit dodgy.....think of Igor when he's due for his facial hair bleaching session, and you'll get the idea.....a ski trip sounds a possibility, plus we could celebrate the Spring Equinox with a party, I am sure the Good Ole Boys can find a set of bongos for kermit ....

The chalet maid is in fact Igor's half sister Lilli Marlene, and she's actually pretty normal, which is saying a lot.Ok,she looks a bit scary, but she'll have had her regular facial and monobrow waxing taken care of before we arrive. Now,I have heard that the chalet is undergoing some renovation work, but it should be finished this week.Just in time as well.

Oooh and can I vote for the ski trip, I fancy sitting in a ski cafe drinking hot chocolate and watching the world ski past!

Yes,it sounds fab....We just might need you to knit some more warm undergarments, vests, knee socks, gloves and hats. ;)

I have found you a knitting companion. :D

His name is Knit Chick, and he's keen as mustard.Just as well, what with all the work you've got. Please just make sure that Swedish Chef doesn't see him....
  • Well done to:

Are you going to increase your target? ;)
  • Drum roll...........

We have a cool total of 410 nsds
and an average of 9.5 nsds each!!!!

I'm pretty sure that quite a few of us will manage two or more nsds, which means that we are bound to reach an even cooler total of 500,or more.... :j:j:j

Yes, scotsmum, you can have your outfit in Fifty Shades of Pink and Purple Tartan, just tell the knitting queen your requirements.

    .

Apres ski sign me up
nargle that tartan does sound tantalising :D
No Nsds for me this weekend. DH goes in for his biopsy on tuesday and he has to take a pair of slippers and a dressing gown which obviously as he is "a real man"(his words not mine), he didn't have. I had to go to town and buy him them. Never mind, a wee ski break sounds delightful I can't wait to see Hubert on skis bet it's like disney on ice, a total masterpiece of choreography and perfection a feast for the eyes :D:D

  • Good morning! :hello:

I've rustled up some coffee and pastries to cheer you all up on this rainy Monday.

It was Igor's idea, thoughtful chap that he is,though he had nothing to do with the making of it.So,tuck in! :)

Hubert is harnessed up and is slowly inching the Cauldron of Doom out from the gigantic muddy puddle at the back of the lodge.I just hope that it doesn't aggravate his hernia. It's a right job getting his truss on....
  • I'm pretty certain that today will be an nsd,so I'm already declaring #16. :j

Hope everyone had a good weekend, scotmumof3 best wishes for your DH's hospital appt.

I was good this weekend but Saturday was a spendy day due to the grocery shop. I'm up to #10 including today - target looking a bit ambitious as I'm sure I'll need to spend between now and Sunday - will try harder in March!
