:hello: Hi there all February NSDers xx
Oh dear; after my last blast of glory on Jan 31st when I managed to spend absolutely nothing at all at the works meal and chat up the man at the garage to just 'please check it doesn't just need tightening up like the other man did before to the other one' and him looking at the windscreen wiper and deciding that it did just need tightening up (after asking me to bring it in on Monday as he thought it was broken with a starting price of £50 :eek:) and tightening it up and me paying nothing :jI thought I was doing so well.................
The best laid plans :rotfl:
I was supposed to do my shopping on Sunday before meeting a few of the girls for coffee but got up too late:o and then we ended up going to a carvery for lunch instead :eek: It wasn't too pricey at £10.99 (with drink) but oh dear after the indian the night before and that I think I have eaten enough to feed a small country :rotfl:It was lovely though
Monday I was in London but was very pleased with myself for not spending much at all; it was cold so my friend and I spent quite a lot of time on busses (to stay warm while not going into cafes while we were between the things we had gone down to do) and made the most of them as they are 'capped' after four journeys. T'was quite wonderful seeing Tower bridge all lit up as evening drew in.
So the shopping eventually got done on Tuesday but I made sure I got petrol, electric and ordered flowers for mum;s birthday to be delivered todayand thought I had done everything except A!di didn't have pouches of cat food in so I could only get the dry. 'That's okay' I thought I will pick some up tomorrow and as I've budgetted for it I will count it.........but silly me bought some biscuits while I was in there too
.
Sooo Coming in to declare Thursday as number 1.(at last)......Hopefully this slow start will get better like it did last month.
Back tomorrow

Sounds like a fun place to be...and I've always wanted to start a conga in the congo. Hubert can play the bongos while we all drink Um Bungo and play Bingo.Sounds good to me!! I am now going to have the Um Bongo song stuck in my head all afternoon though!
Me too. :mad:
An interesting proposition Agent Mankini.....:rotfl::rotfl:0
