There must be around this, ANYHELP WILL BE GREATLY APRECIATED... I want to return my phone to my previous Sim Only contract but as I have had the phone for over the 14 day contract its not possible !!!
I was in love with my White HTC One X ... it was amazing but me being me I put it in the washing machine where it broke beyond repair, so I hunted everywhere for a new one (debated buying a second hand one but given the price with no guarantee I decided against that)
I rang My contract provider "Vodafone" and told them the situation and after a long chat decided that the Samsung Galaxy S5 was the best choice for me. it meant paying more than double what I was already paying for my sim only, but I was getting a brand new phone too, so I reluctantly agreed
Today is the 22/01/2015 I ordered the phone on 03/12/2014 but...
When I ordered the phone I was told I would have to wait if I wanted a white phone so I did, only to receive a gold one anyway.
So I rang them up and told them the problem they responded by telling me I need to ring back after the stock has been updated so I did
only to keep getting told to ring back ( this is when I started to ask them to ring me which they said they would 3times each time they chose to ignore their promise) so I kept ringing back
Finally I got a got who was honest with me and told me they had discontinued the phone in white and I should have been told this when I first ordered it
After some debating I decided that I need a phone so I would just go ahead and keep it in gold
They then wanted to charge me for the phone since the 3rd (it was now the 17th January ish)
I managed to get them to agree to pay the first month which was great but still wasn't the htc nor was it white!!!
At this point I started o download apps and log in to my accounts etc I found it wasn't too far off my HTC but there was something I couldn't quite put my finger on as to why it just didn't feel as good! Throwing these feelings aside I kept the phone only to have to ring and request a repair which was arranged and sent on Monday (19th)
Rang them today to say that I wanted to cancel the upgraded contract and just go back to my previous sim only to be told (in a rather blunt up yours with a smile kind of way) that its not possible and im stuck with the contract until dec 2016 regardless of how many times it will need repairing
oh and the phones warranty only covers the first year (again regardless of the amount of repairs needed in between) I know that's standard but it's rubbish!

Samsung phones are covered for the full 2 years. So not sure why you think its a 12 month warranty.
If you listen to the sales patter and they read out what seems like war and peace. I upgraded recently and they girl barely paused for breath...
They usually tell you that play with the phone and return it if you dont like it. BUT dont put a SIM into it otherwise its yours..
You failed to mention how long you have had the phone. (unless i missed it) A lot of uneeded waffle in there.
______________
You ordered a phone in white, They sent you a gold one. You queried it and they said sorry no white ones which you accepted.
Now approx 7 weeks later the phones not quite right? But you dont state why.
You want to cancel the contract because a phone doesnt feel right?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
