BBC employers tend to always come out of the woodwork when this type of thread comes out. They feel threatened because know the majority don't want to pay their wages as this yet another poll shows.

Tell me can you explain Terry Wogan on UKGold talking about television centre on his UKGOLD chat show MR Beeb ? Thats where he said the show was made ;)

No it proves that the BBC people exaggerated the truth as usual.

UKTV launched UKTV History in October 2002. BBC Broadcast (now Red Bee Media)

Let me guess you just forgot to mention that part ;)

What part? You said the UKTV channels are broadcast from BBC Television Centre. They're not.

Why should I watch it squirreltufty is your next tactic to try and force feed people who would rather do without it ? I suspect you think its the best thing since sliced bread so why are you people so scared of it going subscription and paying for it by yourselfs ?

Ps have you bothered to check the poll I think you'll see just like every other one the No's outway the yes's
Don't be ridiculous. :rotfl:You'll be accusing me of being a BBC employee next. I just wondered how you know so much about it if you don't watch it.

And it was last time I had an email from them but yes I forgot that they sold off Red Bee which will have meant alot of the shows being broadcasted at their new place now but as Wogan let slip things are still being done at Television Centre!

Yes most want to save money but others who like the BBC wish them to keep paying £135.50 (& rising) for their own selfish needs

Well as usual the pro BBC people have clearly underestimated the number of anti BBC TV Licence members here

the only decent thing on the bbc the last few weeks has been Jeckle (sp) but that has now finished :(

I cant remember where the post is from someone saying they are happy to pay the tv license for a channel that doesn't show 'reality' programmes - hate to burst the bubble but what do you think Dance X is?

at least when watching a programme with adverts you can nip to the loo/check on dinner/stick kettle on etc without missing what you are watching.
on some of the occassions I do watch the adverts it reminds me of a product I need to add to shopping list and with the likes of channel 4 and 5 where they advertise shows coming soon there has been a few times where I
have thought 'that programme looks good I want to watch that'

I dont understand how people think the BBC will collapse if they used adverts instead of getting the nation to pay for it - hundreds of other channels manage it perfectly well without collapsing.
