Hi, I am with EE and have been for a long time (no contract any more just i havent bothered to move) but.. over the last 2 weeks my speeds have dropped like a stone and I am looking for a new ISP.. I have read Sky/BT and Plusnet customer reviews and they tell a sorry tale. I am so confused by which provider to use. I live in North London about 2 km away from a BT exchange.. Could anyone recommend a good reliable speed ISP please (hope I'm not asking the impossible here).. I have had my speeds checked and apparently I can get up to 7 MB, EE are currently giving me 0.78 download and 0.58 upload which stinks!! I would be most grateful for any help .. Pat:)

Ist thing I will say, from experience, DO NOT go to BT, the reviews are true, their technical support is terrible!
I have recently moved to plusnet and so far have found them good, very helpful on the phone and so far have had no problems.0 -
Thank you for your reply, I've been hearing some bad reports about their customer service. I think I may choose Sky.. they have offered a pretty good deal.. Would like to hear from others too, if possible. Many thanks again

Sky do get a bad press but I've always found their CS to be excellent.0

All depends upon why and where the problem is .
Are you measuring speed by Ethernet cable from the master socket ?? Or over WiFI .
Moving ISP is only of use if the ISP you are using is the actual problem . The problem may still exist in your internal wirring the master socket the line to your house or the feed from the cabinet .Have you put in a problem report to your ISP .0 -
^^^What they said.
Investigate the problem first before seeking a solution.0
