Yes. It usually shows 2 readings. The one the left is reading on the day (sometimes it will have an A (actual), C (customer) or E (estimated) against it. The second reading is the previous reading which they use to calculate your consumption. There should be separate columns for both gas and electricity. We need to find 2 actual readings for gas and electricity about a year apart.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Don't trust to comparison sites. Enter your figures on suppliers own websites, so you know exactly what tariff you are being quoted for.
Some (all?) comparison sites compare tariffs with other companies to standard on your own (assuming you wander onto that if you don't change), thus giving an overestimate of savings.0
