I was pulled over once. :o

One of my lights was not working.

And I didn't have any id/driving licence etc on me. :o

It was DD1's birthday tea party and DD2's 6th form xmas disco, and so we had house full and got call to pick up DD2 early as they had all been chucked out of venue as some were underage drinking.

I rushed out of house with OH's cousin's DD in tow, flashed and pulled over and the awful "Will you step out of the car please madam". :o

All I had on me was my phone. I offered to phone home and get OH to bring down my particulars but they let me on my way when I explained picking up DD. Was bloomin cold too as I had gone without a coat and you are not allowed to sit in your car while they are checking up.

I've always been allowed to sit in my car while they check. You must look well dodgy :rotfl:

I'm ignoring all the bilge and personal stuff:rotfl: No, not really, I do see it (I don't think it (the 'bilge' part) really is "bilge", that's just our humorous description most times) and I'm not sure in what sense it 'passes me by' but I guess, as ever, I think too deeply about these sorts of things - I 'should' view things 'in the round' (as most people do most of the time, perhaps even all of the time) but as usual I start off at the analysing. Not a bad thing I guess - just a different approach.

I guess I have little experience of some of the personal stuff so don't have anything I can suggest in those areas - I can only really respond in reply to personal stuff of which I have had some experience, such as depression and mental illness (in others close to me, not myself) and, in other things, relationships, I have no experience and therefore not 'qualified' - i.e. not the best person - to reply. It's also there's a lot of stuff that I do, and am made or 'wired' to get on with doing, that I don't even see the appropriate page on here on which something is posted and there's no time to reply to everything. For example, I completely didn't see zippy's post three/four days ago about the Broccoli size - only by chance saw that yesterday (or maybe early hours of today, I forget, days go by...) purely because I happened to be going back to try to find something else (that I didn't actually find - sorry, I'm going into too much detail here:rotfl:). Besides, I reply to lots of things sometimes, probably overmuch:eek:. Anyway, I didn't reply to the Broccoli but may as well do so now I've mentioned it - just to say I always try to find the biggest broccoli that the store has in stock when I visit - as long as it looks good quality as longest date of use by etc. There have been some big ones (oh er:rotfl:) in my store this last week too - and I've picked the biggest I could find!(:rotfl:)

    Right, price alerts have arrived.

I'm only taking the first one for now.

Nestle After Eight Chocolate Mints (300g)

    012696.jpg?v=6
    Store_2.15px.png £4.00
    £1.98 50%
    OFF

Rubbish price! The £1.98 that is:rotfl:. As if I'd ever go for that. These have been (are!) £1.88 in M (perhaps, now they also have the cartons of sweets on at the same price, for the last two weeks, maybe they have hope that customers might get confused:rotfl::rotfl:, thinking £1.88 is good for After Eight Mints too - as if it were even good for the cartons...:rotfl:). These (the After Eights) have been £1.50 in the past, so that's my current guide price - and of course own brand ones, at different size, at £1 each so they work out at same price per unit as £1.50 price (nowhere near £1.98 or even £1.88). In fact, I think I happened to go through some of my old Morries info. when trying to find something else (again!) and think these went down to £1.37 as low a quite while back. £1.98. £1.88. Tut!:rotfl: Avoid. May even have been briefly £1.98 but £4 comp (via CC) but, now, £1.98 and price-alerted - avoid!:rotfl::rotfl:

    As if:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    £1 low!

Princes Steak & Kidney Pie (425g)
    Store_2.15px.png£2.00 any 2 for £3.00 :rotfl:

    The common "Was £1, now 2 for £3.00" thing:D.

Good aren't I?, how I remember it and just reject the whole lot of these 'offers' - ordinary customers I suspect would take these things up all the time:(:rotfl:.

    Oh thanks for that. :o

They kept me standing on the pavement with no coat on freezing cold while they checked vehicle details/address/name I gave them.

don't try a Morrison shop (as a newb) using msm or the app msl. as they are not reliable. that's why youll see a lot of us ask now and again for others to give their results against morry.
