And, for your sins, I'm now delayed on this.:)

I notice that :rotfl:the Cod Portion is going back on vs T!

    ASDA Cod Portion (150g)

    Store_2.15px.png
    £2.50 any 2 for £4.00 £16.67 / £13.33 / Kg
    Store_1.15px.png
    84p

Just so funny at how often the T product goes up, down, up again and back round.

I'm not warming to this as much though, given that it was all too briefly available for 2 for £3 recently in A and then compared from 2 for £4. Also I think the T price per unit is still quite expensive, even at 84p price to say nothing of any more expensive price than that:rotfl:. However, at £2.50 vs 84p, it is a good comparison.

    Also:

Bernard Matthews Wafer Thin Turkey Ham (250g)

    Store_2.15px.png
    [Strike]£2.00[/Strike] £1.50 60p / 100g
    Store_1.15px.png
    [Strike]£2.00[/Strike] £1.00

This recently turned N/A vs Morrisons:(, so suggest if buying it, to buy against T - Northern Ireland you will have to (if buying it!), outside Northern Ireland you can flip over and reveal whether the M price is being picked up this time.

    Nestle Coco Shreddies (750g)

    Store_2.15px.png
    £3.38 45.1p / 100g
    Store_1.15px.png
    [Strike]£3.38[/Strike] £1.69

The usual £1.69 price for 750g now:(, rather than previous £1.59 or even £1.49. Perhaps buy S/P Coco Rice Cereal:rotfl:.

Pot Noodle 4 packs are now £1.94 T, so less than 50p each, but the non-supermarkets or smaller retailers go cheaper I'm sure - and of course still more expensive than S/P Chicken & Mushroom Noodles which, themselves, saw a big percentage price rise years ago now and ever since I've not been keen on them. £1.94 price only on for a week in T at this stage - obviously a bit of a loss-leading price for them.

Keep in view the Nesquik 300gs in case A puts an mbuy onto them - T's offer on until 3/3 so maybe plenty of time! We are getting ahead on our glitching now:rotfl:. Currently £1.98 - I predict 2 for £3 at some stage:D.

For those who like to pay for their biscuits:rotfl::

    Jutrzenka Jezyki Biscuits Classic (140g)

    Store_2.15px.png
    £1.30 92.9p / 100g
    Store_1.15px.png
    [Strike]£1.35[/Strike] 50p

Nonetheless it does give £1.30 vs 50p (as long as it's updated!), so might be good to get some back depending on what you have to spend, may be good for some people for some reason.

If someone wants to pay for crisps:eek::

McCoy's Ridge Cut Crisps - Classic Variety (14x30g)

    Store_2.15px.png
    £3.00 71.4p / 100g
    Store_1.15px.png
    [Strike]£3.89[/Strike] £2.00

Also £2 in M but not stocked in all M stores. I bet this doesn't compare vs M.

Years ago, I've have seen £2 for a bigger multipack of crisps as being good. These were 15 pack, now 14. Really quite expensive by more recent standards:rotfl:.

Also vs T Danone Oykos 4 pack yogurts (too expensive:p) and Branston Beans multipack that doesn't get near my price these days - I suspect an A r'back will go onto that:(. The Homepride sauces are, of course, still okay vs T (if you get the right ones) although not as good as they would have been.

Useless - Ts doing the 'reduce your PP' thing, even though they only partially compared vs Morries. No good for reaching much of a cond spend in T anymore, and suggested just buy in M anyway. The usual game (of S, A, M et al.) - don't actually have to match (or even better by 10%) - just bring the price down a bit, but still overcharged compared to a competitor, and most customers' shops would be offset more easily by something else in their shopping.

Actimel Kids Drink - Strawberry & Vanilla (6x100g)

    Store_1.15px.png
    [Strike]£2.29[/Strike] £1.14:((:rotfl:)
    Store_8.15px.png
    [Strike]£2.29[/Strike] £1.00
    (Store_2.15px.png
    [Strike]£2.29[/Strike] £1.50)

I suspect actually nothing to do with wanting to offset people's PPs (or BMs/APGs...), as prices elsewhere also increase without seeming reference to what a competitor is on, although the stores all do pay a deal of attention to what their competitors are charging. Probably as much as we do lol:rotfl:. It's tactical price setting - pure and simple (IMO). Defeated only by tactical buying;):(:rotfl:;). (It's also simply a 'half price' offer in T (would have to round down the penny to claim that), whereas in M it's on what they call 'better than half price'. Clearly not better than half of T's now current price though, or even A's:rotfl:. However, we wouldn't expect that and all the stores are on variant offers, some of them better than others; therefore, impliedly (although now expressly!:rotfl:), some of them worse.)

Oh that's awful:(, I'm so sorry to hear it.

Unfortunately that's what happens sometimes when people have depression. It's so easy to cut yourself up and blame yourself, but the truth is it's not your fault. It's the effect of desperation on him that's led to this, there was nothing that you could have done differently that would have made things better or worse. No, you're not bad - you've said yourself: you love him. It's the people that care, like yourself, that are always more affected and have all this range of emotions as you've been describing. I know - I've been there (and with depression too). If I'd have done X or not done Y, then my life could be totally different. But, really, it could have better, it could have been worse, but the truth is we'll never know. We just have what we have to deal with. I wish you the best of luck.

As regards sending him away, I could have gone out yesterday and been run over by a bus. We never know - had I not gone out, I would still have been here. I could have gone out and picked someone up, as they do not have a car, but it was rush hour and I asked if they'd been okay to walk. They said it was (I still asked them if they were really sure) and then they did. They got safely to where they were going (sigh of relief) but, had anything happened to them (a grown sane adult of over 30 years of age), it would have been natural for me to have blamed myself. After all, it would 'never' have happened if I had picked them up - but then, if I'd done so, maybe I'd have crashed my car. We just never know. It's always natural to blame ourselves but in truth nothing could have been any different.

    Very best of luck:A:).

Savvy I've only just saw this. I haven't been trailing through pages of bilge  someone pointed it out me.

Very touched that you took time to answer. I know the bilge and personal stuff sometimes passes you by. Your logic has made me smile and is as ever so very true and practical. I'm a fan of your views :D anyway it cheered me up reading it :A so thank you :)
