I've not been posting lately because life has been pretty terrible :(

Last Friday my OH decided that life would be ended better by drinking a bottle of weedkiller. Needless to say he woke up in hospital and not in heaven as he hoped and we are climbing the mountain again.

My range of emotions this week:

Sadness - how can someone feel that utterly desperate?

Guilt - Did I not notice something? How did it come to this? Why is my loved one laid on a life support machine? I sent him away :(

Anger - How could he do this to me and our children? We love him every day and he wants to leave us :(

Despair- Are we really that bad? I have spent 7 years climbing the mountain that is his depression and today I'm back at the bottom.

Love - I love him and I never want him to leave this earth feeling unloved.

Desperation - I SO want him to be ok in the desperate hope he feels happiness again one day

Im struggling folks :( How do you deal with it and keep going? I watched the 'young wives ' programme on ITV tonight. I felt for them awfully but at least they are free to build a new life. No disrespect to what they've lost but I have lost everything and it's still here

We need a tissue glitch :p:o

I haven't spoken to my husband in a week. He was in an induced coma the last time I saw him.

I have had loads of PMs too many to answer. I am seeing him tomorrow and we will see what happens. Wish me luck because I feel I will need it. Thanks to all who have shown concern :A

Oh I'm so sorry fairclair don't really know what to say but I wish you all the luck in the world.

    Good Morning all.

Me and DH did 3 OneStop shops and had to get all of the £5's added manually, this was an Amex Platinum card.
Thank you Busylizzie....strange isn't it, as everything else credited automatically. Thanks for your reply.

FC I'm so sorry to read that things are so very difficult for you all. I had a vaguely similar situation with a family member a few years ago, and I know how tough it was for me to deal with it, as well as everyone else relying on me to get him and them through.

I send you lots of love, hugs, prayers and courage. You are one of the strongest people who I have ever seen on this thread, and you know that as a collective, and individually, we are all here if you need us.

    Lots of love xx

This did make me laugh Nerfdad.....when our son was younger, he often did the same, and was lovingly referred to as 'log boy' for a few years.
