    good morning :)

The truth is that he has had the very best of care. And lots of it. Anyone with experience of this stuff will know that help can only go so far and that you have to use the help to help yourself. Whatever goes on in his head doesn't let him do that.

I can't believe how negative I'm being :(it's not like me at all.

Thanks for all the messages. I'm heading off soon to see what can get sorted out.

in the midst of all the chaos I'm comforted by DS2 practical attitude to everything :o his biggest concern over the last week is that we ran out of kitkats...........that sulky face pained by having to force himself to eat a penguin instead has been the biggest laugh I've had in ages!

I've not been posting lately because life has been pretty terrible :(

Last Friday my OH decided that life would be ended better by drinking a bottle of weedkiller. Needless to say he woke up in hospital and not in heaven as he hoped and we are climbing the mountain again.

My range of emotions this week:

Sadness - how can someone feel that utterly desperate?

Guilt - Did I not notice something? How did it come to this? Why is my loved one laid on a life support machine? I sent him away :(

Anger - How could he do this to me and our children? We love him every day and he wants to leave us :(

Despair- Are we really that bad? I have spent 7 years climbing the mountain that is his depression and today I'm back at the bottom.

Love - I love him and I never want him to leave this earth feeling unloved.

Desperation - I SO want him to be ok in the desperate hope he feels happiness again one day

Im struggling folks :( How do you deal with it and keep going? I watched the 'young wives ' programme on ITV tonight. I felt for them awfully but at least they are free to build a new life. No disrespect to what they've lost but I have lost everything and it's still here

We need a tissue glitch :p:o

I haven't spoken to my husband in a week. He was in an induced coma the last time I saw him.

I have had loads of PMs too many to answer. I am seeing him tomorrow and we will see what happens. Wish me luck because I feel I will need it. Thanks to all who have shown concern :A

I wish you and your husband strength and happiness for the future. X

  • Morning all

    Biggest hugs FC

Overslept this morning, hate being late, puts me all wrong, left without breakfast so I've just had a large mocha and a bacon roll :o just as well I'm going to circuit training tonight :p

Got another car last night. think this is my eleventh one now, not bad going seeing as I've had my licence 10 years :o I get bored with them easily :rotfl:

Wishing you all the strength possible to manage whatever today has in store Fairclaire. It sounds like you are doing an amazing job of keeping things together. It is so difficult to be able to handle seeing the same person in a physical sense in front of you but not having the one you love there and my thoughts are with you. Hope DS2 makes you smile when you get home!
