Are coco pops 800g for net £2.37 any good? I honestly have no idea anymore :rotfl::T
I suspect savvy would say nope! :rotfl:
£2.87 in Asda
500 More points according to M com
remember £15 minimum spend in M to get the match points
No. I haven't even mentioned this - it's one I've been checking every Monday and Wednesday for at least three weeks (including just earlier today now) but sadly, even with the 50p, it's still way above my price! I'm looking for Coco Pops 800g at a competitor to be £2 or lower. It's nowhere near 20p/100g otherwise! Otherwise - why bother: I suggest S/P Coco Rice Cereal (375g) Avs T at 83p (may be also vs M, but risk on M price as usual). NB S/P (plain) Rice Cereal (440g) went down to 50p. 77p is too dear and, really, 83p on Coco version for lower amount is too expensive as well (hence even the cheapest S/P cereal doesn't even get to my list nowadays:rotfl::rotfl:).
Prices on Rice Krispies pack size that also has a 500 points in M have also been stubbornly high elsewhere for a while.
Really, when you can get 750g cereals for £2, £2.37:eek: for 800g is way too much:rotfl:. My guide price is £1 on the 500g versions (seems to have crept up to £1.24 on recent offers:() - which means £1.50 on 750g. Making A's regular r'backs of £2 on such cereals too dear!! Competitors offers go onto sub-£2, usually £1.57 or, very rarely, £1.34. It's the rare £1.34 that we need to jump at (unless a glitch comes on like several years ago). Sadly they've been wanting people to mbuy on non-comparable promotions (3 for 2) recently, so been no good. £1.50, or at least £1.57, is seen on 750g Crunchy Nut Cornflakes from time to time for example. Shreddies 1kg were back at £1.94 in T recently - may just sneak in on that if you are very very quick tomorrow morning! Expiring 10/2 - sadly I rushed for them a little too much the time before, as thought this was (is) a very good offer and thought it wouldn't come back around again. It is on - but not for very long! (People generally getting the wrong one of course - the 750g at expensive £1.77, offer prices elsewhere (not on at present) have been £1.69 (were £1.59 a couple of years ago).)
Otherwise, "value" cereal can be cheaper still of course e.g. Basics Cornflakes 30p (Tvs S... or Mvs S:rotfl::rotfl:, as if anyone could get a £15 M shop comparing good vs S on everything!), although I still remember when SP Bran Flakes, and equivalents elsewhere, were 64p! Having to settle for 88p-10% now:(. In fact, the SP etc. are a lot less than 20p/100g (SP Bran Flakes, even at 88p, are about 11.7p/kg) - branded cereal is expensive!0 -

I know I keep saying too dear, too dear, too expensive:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
It's an antidote against buying something or paying for it over the odds. Or indeed against buying anything at all sometimes:rotfl:! (Founder member of my fictional Institute of Non-Buying:D.)
That "Eat Well for Less" is a case in point. They just pick up things regardless of price. Much the way I used to many years ago. However, once you start paying attention to prices, and become aware of the continual manoeuvres and the way they try to get you to buy more, you then start knowing the lowest offer prices - and anything more expensive than what those have been is now just spending too much money!! Why would you ever buy anything except at its lowest price? (Okay, convenience is one answer - albeit a very expensive way to shop. This site is about money-saving.)0 -
Thank you all

I have spotted Pampers New Baby Size 2 Mini 3-6kg (Jumbo - 74) on MSM for £5.24 at Waitrose, although I can't actually see them on the Waitrose site. I believe 7.1p per nappy (less 10%) is a good price.

This goes nicely with the Weetabix drinks/Porridge pot combo for those expecting children/grandchildren anytime soon.
ETA Tried and tested and working today.0
