Found weetabix biscuits milk and cereal in store for 50p and it's still showing online at £2.28. Morisons have got it for £2.18 which should give back £1.78 plus 10%. Please correct me if I am wrong.

    I have attached an image.

    Good morning all :hello:
Argh......... Just tried another store for the tabs.. not reduced but weirdly in store they are £3.50 RTC but this time they subbed it for the 35 tabs in a pack. but only gave me 6 as it works out the same but wanted £68.50 for them. Refused them but had to laugh at it.

My closest A never have the DW tablets or laundry RTC's :(

Does anyone know if it's generally the smaller A's that RTC these or just pot luck ?

Closest store is 5 minute walk, next one is 30 min drive away.

I apologise for asking this but can someone explain how this works please. I have read through the old Posts but still can't work it out. I understand that A price matches with other stores but why wouldn't you just buy the stuff from the cheaper store then? Do they give you more back than just the difference? Do the other stores do this as well or just A? Also is there an advantage when using C&C or is it just convenience?

I ask this because A is the only supermarket not close to me. Is it worth the drive over?

    Thanks very much.

It is really complex, I would keep reading and also re-read post 1 as things start to click into place. We do it this way as it is cheaper/enjoyable/addictive. There are many different ways that glitches work, either really good comparisons or glitches. The simplest one to get your head around ... and example... Tesco have a special offer on a product, this is reduced from £2 to £1, but in your store they have sold out. In Asda the same product is £2... the APG MAY compare the product, therefore you have paid £2, but have received the different +10% on the APG ... so the product costs you 90p (but don't forget your fillers!!)

The best thing to do is to replicate some shops, as you start to understand how things work. But remember please don't raise the profile of he glitch, and don't gamble more than you can afford to loose.

    Enjoy x

Good morning all, lovely sunny day here :D

FC, sorry to hear about what your son is going through, he has enough to deal with without idiots plagueing him. I am not entirely surprised he has not told you though, entirely different situation as I never had the problems he faces every day, but I was bullied at school, physically and mentally, for a 8 years (please, no sympathy, it contributed to making the person I am today and I quite like myself). I never told my parents, I don't believe they ever found out. As it turned out I was my own worst enemy, any highly intelligent schoolgirl that adored maths and English was asking for it in those days, and it tended to be swept under the carpet.

FC sorry too to hear about this, hope you can sort this out quickly. I'd like to understand why most kids are reluctant to seek help from adults about bullying  whenever anyone started to bully me at school I'd tell a teacher and it was nipped in the bud very quickly, I was quite a tattle tale at school :o I'm also ashamed to say that I was also guilty of bullying myself :o There was this girl who was cleverer than me. I was jealous of her so would torment her calling her swot and goody two shoes. One day she started crying. I didn't mean to upset her that much, I just wanted to be as clever as her :( if I could go back in time now I'd try to befriend her. I did apologise for what I'd done.

The majority of children (and adults) who bully do so due to issues within their own life/sense of identity. Many people who have been a victim, will either move to enable or actual bully... but I think your experience of bullying are extremely mild (but clearly not for the girl, who needed to develop some resilience).

Although sometimes there are glitches within the system and they think you paid more than you did - but still give you a voucher for the difference between what they thought you paid and 10% less than a competitor.

Also useful when something is unlikely to be in stock at a competitor, e.g. the big toblerones recently were 75p in Waitrose, but I doubt they had much stock.

I think thats pretty much most of the country covered. I cant guarantee there is stock, but it is showing as available to reserve online for these stores.

Sorry, I dont have time to do any reservations for people.

The best thing to do is to go to the stores asap, it may be that there is a way to view them online and someone else may reserve them, someone could get there first, or the staff may have them to one side to buy. They may not even be on the shelf, or could be showing as in stock but it could have been stolen so they dont have one at all.

    Good luck, good hunting!!
