If anyone is going near a Halfords there is 2 instore bargains. I was only able to view them on my phone (not the PC) and no one else has been able to get them on their phone either.
There is a Remote Control Lamborghini that is reduced from £20 down to £1 - some stores may have one or 2 in stock.
There is also a Symo S33 Remote Control Helicopter reduced down to £5. This is NOT a mini helicopter, it is 2 1/2 feet long and retails for £70 or thereabouts (£60 ish even on Ebay). Again, there are some stores with stock, so worth having a look.
Both these items will probably be priced at a higher price (£5 for car, £35 for copter) but it is worth having a look as they are going through at the lower price.
Neither of these come up on the website through a search, nor through the item link on a reservation, so this is a bit pot luck. As such, you cannot order either online for delivery.
I thought that these were cic? But I could not find them on the website...:D:D

2 x Persil Small & Mighty Biological Liquid Capsules -... £13.70 £8.00
6 x Persil Small & Mighty Colour Biological Liquid Cap... £41.10 £24.00
Comparison total (compared products only) £56.28 £33.48
Is there a way of checking that the reduction for these is on in your store without going in? Please.0 -
Argh......... Just tried another store for the tabs.. not reduced but weirdly in store they are £3.50 RTC but this time they subbed it for the 35 tabs in a pack. but only gave me 6 as it works out the same but wanted £68.50 for them. Refused them but had to laugh at it.0

I don't think it really matters.. if they have them you get them for 25p each and if they are charged at full price then just refuse them.
But keeping in mind that you still take the fillers0 -

he has never said a single word to me or anyone else about it :(but he was given a sheet to fill in for a statement review and felt the need to write it on there in great detail  a just shows the communication difficulties
The saddest thing I've ever heard (once we convinced him to talk about it) was him saying. 'I know he's going to hit me, he just hasn't had a chance yet'He has been frightened of this lad for a long time and hasn't said a word. obviously I feel awful
but was at school first thing fighting his corner. Seems this lad himself has some problems (I don't know what) but it's still not acceptable. I didn't go in all guns blazing.....that's not always appropriate. But I did make it clear I wanted it sorting out. What a crap situation
I do feel for school staff who have to deal with kids with behavioural problems who will cause problems wherever they are. But my DS2 is absolutely thriving at school and I want nothing spoiling it for himit's been bothering me all day
you do have to look after your own sometimes
my DS3 had an older boy bullying him at break/lunch times when he first started secondary & only founf out after 2 weeks when the school phoned me to tell me his trousers got a hole in the knee as he fell off a scooter but when i spoke to him he told me about this boy shoving him off & that this boy had been doing the same to 2 of his friends too  it came to light that one of the others had told a member of staff when this happened but only got sorted after me & the other 2's mum phoned the school!! Happy Bargain Hunting!! :beer:0 -
I apologise for asking this but can someone explain how this works please. I have read through the old Posts but still can't work it out. I understand that A price matches with other stores but why wouldn't you just buy the stuff from the cheaper store then? Do they give you more back than just the difference? Do the other stores do this as well or just A? Also is there an advantage when using C&C or is it just convenience?
I ask this because A is the only supermarket not close to me. Is it worth the drive over?
Thanks very much.0
