    Xmas Saver!
If anyone is going near a Halfords there is 2 instore bargains. I was only able to view them on my phone (not the PC) and no one else has been able to get them on their phone either.

There is a Remote Control Lamborghini that is reduced from £20 down to £1 - some stores may have one or 2 in stock.

There is also a Symo S33 Remote Control Helicopter reduced down to £5. This is NOT a mini helicopter, it is 2 1/2 feet long and retails for £70 or thereabouts (£60 ish even on Ebay). Again, there are some stores with stock, so worth having a look.

Both these items will probably be priced at a higher price (£5 for car, £35 for copter) but it is worth having a look as they are going through at the lower price.

Neither of these come up on the website through a search, nor through the item link on a reservation, so this is a bit pot luck. As such, you cannot order either online for delivery.

No, I cant. They show on the front page of the Halfords Website on my phone under the "recently viewed" section (no clue if by chance I had looked at them in the past, dont remember it if I did) and when I click on them it just adds them to my basket. If I go to my basket, when I click to view the item, it just returns to my basket. If I log into my account on my phone, and then do so on my laptop, I can see the items in my basket, but again I cant view the items individually. I think Halfords have removed the items from the website, and I can just see them on my phone for some reason.

  • Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have a fabulous Saturday.

    Happy shopping.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.
  • Good morning all, lovely sunny day here :D

FC, sorry to hear about what your son is going through, he has enough to deal with without idiots plagueing him. I am not entirely surprised he has not told you though, entirely different situation as I never had the problems he faces every day, but I was bullied at school, physically and mentally, for a 8 years (please, no sympathy, it contributed to making the person I am today and I quite like myself). I never told my parents, I don't believe they ever found out. As it turned out I was my own worst enemy, any highly intelligent schoolgirl that adored maths and English was asking for it in those days, and it tended to be swept under the carpet.
