I guess its like anything though, people are always quick to point out the bad stories, but you don't often hear of the good.

Police are human, just like the rest of us, and like you rightly say, no-one is 100% perfect. Unfortunately there are always going to be a few bad apples, its the same in any profession, but obviously when those details come out we all get tarred with the same brush.

I follow the very simple rules of treating people how I would like myself or a member of my family to be treated. Generally seems to work, and often has a far better effect than being aggressive or arsey, as its much more difficult to be horrible to someone when they're being nice to you. :D

It is a good rule to life by. I have never met a bad apple PO, but I do think that everyone has a breaking point. I have seen coppers being punched, and spat on. God help anyone who every spat at me... that is my line... I think society accepts and indeed expects some people to be disrespectful to police officers and there is a level of tolerance to these people, which is not acceptable or appropriate. :p:p

I probably also should acknowledge that my extended maternal family are in the main extremely well known to the police and the prison service. They would be the first to mug an old lady, and then moan that they did not get a cup of tea at the correct time.

:( oh dear my sim cutting efforts haven't worked, think I've ended up with a nano sim.
It was too big, so cut a little slice off, then another :o and although it's just about the same size as the micro sim I was using as a template I just can't get it to be recognised. So now I'm stuck.
Any ideas to convert back to normal sim so I can put it in my old phone :(
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time

    Evening elite.

My dear friend's OH has been told he doesn't have a job from tomorrow. He was the main earner in the house. She has a zero hours job which won't be enough to support them or pay the rent. They have no savings and no food in the house and they have a little girl. They're like family to me and I don't know what to do.

Gonna get more info but how can they give him so little notice?
Has he worked there long? The law says that employers must pay one weeks wages for every year worked. I think you need to have worked there at least 2 years though.

I think this was first reported not working here...

That was back on 04/12/14 so anything could have happened in the meantime.
Yes I remember that post. I checked at the time and it was visible then but not anymore, so should be a trigger if its still in the offer. I'd advise to scan first though as I might be putting the wrong description in the search.

I've never yet got a completely random item in a cc or hd order. Best I've managed was four parsnips when I only ordered one. I live in hope of getting something unexpected.
