For once I agree with you.:eek::eek:
Delboy are you really thinking of the long term?
My opinion getting such huge APGs will surely only bring it's demise like the original Ts DTD.
I see what you are saying Mildred that it's the same as UDIs (not that I have ever been comfortable there either) but such huge results will surely start questions being asked as to how their system is working......We have seen it happen with the 342s not comparing like they did in the big As glitch.
Now who was it who mentioned the golden goose a long time ago.....:(
Looking forward to the "woe is me" troutings to follow.."they won't let me use my APG"....blah, blah!"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

and there's the rub
As much as I think that's completely OTT, I have ordered a much smaller value of Udis/Persil recently and has been pointed out time and again it's hypocritical to say you shouldn't do something that you yourself are doing, even if you are doing it a hell of a lot less.
That's why I don't pass judgement anymore (Don't get me wrong, I roll my eyes right back in my head a lot but I've kept schtum for a long time because there is no point telling someone not to do something that they are obviously hell bent on doing)
It's a question of where to draw the "line" and we all have different ideas. i.e
If £10 is acceptable, is £15?
Well, if £15 is acceptable, is £20?
etc
etc
Well, if £95 is acceptable is £100?
My personal opinion is this is simply asking for trouble, but as long as this amount can be reached in one transaction people will do what they will to suit themselves
My sincere hope is that A will impose the £15 cap again. Not so much to stop people doing such large shops in the first place but to stop the whole "that's ridiculous/too high" debates that rip the thread apart. If there was a £15 cap then we wouldn't have the unrest that comes with it and we could all just get along happily
Instead this will cause a lot of unrest and ill feeling, a lot of showboaters will come out of the woodwork to gloat and a lot of seasoned posters will retreat to FB. What good comes of any of this? :wall:
No doubt this post will get ripped apart and it will be labelled as a "do as I say, not as I do" lecture but c'est la vie. Whatever someone thinks I do or don't do is of little concern to me
Totally agree aau and I dread to think what they get up to on the fabled private FB groups.
I guess as soon as A's accounts show APG cost approaching the market researched additional income from the running the ad campaign they will pull it.
I wish they would fix it to go on collected instead of ordered.... how's that for a potentially unpopular view#CHEEKY :cool:0 -

Tempted to have a wander down to A5da later and check if anymore of the Simple wipes are in the 3 for £6 offer as the ones that are are only £1.64 in Morries. I need a glitch on these as I'm down to my last pack

Some of the simple wipes are in the spend £20 save £4 online at t.... Might work out nicely if the ones you use are in a t v m online shop:)0 -

So I took a little break from MSE as life has been super busy. This is what I've been up to lately
Holiday somewhere, massively got into the gym, Christmas and preparation for that, my birthday, trip to Reykjavik with Mum, bought a flat, hubby's birthday and throwing a surprise party,oh, and a bit of biscuit shopping and persil shopping!! Plus my boss thinks I go to work, to work.. that wasn't the dealpossibly a new opportunity coming up with work for an extra day a week. So my normal 3 days a week when I catch up with you lot had to be put on hold.. Soz about that :rotfl:
hope everyone is well, Congrats BB on passing your exams.:TTiger
