Reminder, if you ordered an A SIM for the free £20 bundle, it needs activating and claiming today.

Thanks for this! I had got one, forgotten to use it and lost it in the house somewhere, remembered yesterday but thought it had to be used by end of Jan so didn't bother to look for it....

...anyway, thanks to your prompt, found it and sorted it. Yay for lots of free data :D

Ah Tiny thats how my DMum felt when Dad told her they were moving to Weymouth and she would not be seeing her only Grand Daughter Lala very often:(

It was hopeful they may be moving back to Poole, her BF had a second round interview here but would have meant possible trips abroad month at a time.

So he has accepted the better paid London job so the move will not be happening now......

I daren't do that, your APG must be more than your spend?
I like to keep under the radar but this is a tricky one for me, a return of about £15 means that I try to spend about £20 to make it less conspicuous, SA's around here are a bit suspicious about anything over a tenner:think:

Sorry but it's not what I'm thinking at all FC. I love seeing everyone doing their bit for others. People do what they can and a few smart price goods and biccies is surely better than nothing.

As I've said, it purely my opinion. I've had my eyes opened much wider recently since starting this new job. Some of the people that are using the services provided are struggling in all sorts of ways including financially. Some of the programmes currently running are teaching people how to grow their own food and providing them with the equipment and facilities needed to do so, teaching People how to meal plan and create nutritious meals for not much money and most importantly helping people to budget and use what little money they have effectively.......something that everyone here knows is possible.

I agree that food banks have their place and are sadly needed. I do think however, if people want to 'give' to help the people that unfortunately need to use them, schemes like those mentioned above will help people more in the long term. Food banks just plug the gap temporarily. I'd personally like to see more resources being put into educating people to survive without the need for help from food banks. Ambitious?.....maybe? But the project I'm working on is succeeding and on a far bigger scale than anyone could have expected and I hope that funding for far more similar schemes can be made available in a lot more areas.

10 ways reporting a potential 75% off meat at Expresses. Maybe one to keep an eye on.

Just had my Dinner earlier than usual as off out tonight to my monthly Widow group meeting to arrange outings, get together's for the next few weeks. This time of year it is mostly indoor things as very unpredictable weather governs what we do.I shall be putting forward a couple of cinema trips as a new "Marigold Hotel "out this month and also be very interesting to see how many ladies are wanting to see 50 Shades of Grey:eek:which is being released this month;)

The Morris0bobs website does still advertise 500 More points, but in store these points weren't awarded on at least 3 varieties I bought around 12:30ish despite also having 500 More points SELs.
Others still work, look at M0rries website under foxs biscuits and they still show as 500 points :)
Only the crunch golden creams are showing on the app now, the rest have all disappeared, a bit of a poor show, as they were all meant to be on 500 points till 1 March :mad::mad:

It appears that something may have changed on the M system around midday, with only crunch creams reported as giving More points since then? May be store specific or national, we await further reports.

It may be, as predicted, they removed the signs to put some people off while they could update their database - maybe left 500 More points on one variety of biscuits so that the 500 points on Foxes biscuits is still running in case anyone queries the early end of the promotion. In fairness to M, we cannot really expect them to keep giving away free biscuits once their promotion "error" had been spotted (timing their extra points promo when A have a half price promo on).
