 you have given them to charity? Oh my......since when did we have to declare that on here? I find it amusing that many people here have been giving to charity for a long time and have never felt the need to advertise, advocate or indeed try to Shame other people into doing so on here before.
I give to food banks and other charities. I'd never be so condescending as to buy things I wouldn't use myself and expect others to be grateful for it. Id never spend a whole day buying biscuits to feel good about giving others 'a treat'. I find that I have enough to give without some of the over the top methods I've read on here. Ivr also never felt the need to brag about it.
If you are going to give.....do so. There's no need to let the rest of the world thank you for it.

Unpopular.....maybe? but it's my thoughts and there's way too much 'back slapping' going on here lately for what many of us have been doing for a long time but just quietly :(

:T Wholeheartedly agree and well said. It's like the episode in Friends where Phoebe has to do something selfless...
