It may be that with three years left and £5k penalty he would be better sticking with it - I am out and about shopping at the moment but will later see if I can find any of the useful calculators for comparison if no one has found them for you by then.

Depending on the equity situation he may be able to add the £5k to the new mortgage (obviously this is not financial advice, just offering suggestions to look into).

    Thank you :)

I went out armed with wombles to buy spices in A. Schwartz are 2 for £2.

Does anyone think the A equivalents will be inferior. I don't mind paying extra for the quality but don't like paying over the odds either. At the same time I don't want to be buying cheap sawdust:rotfl:

And no I haven't any Asian supermarkets nearby:o

Hi TM , I have bought both sadas own and even the range in aldi and they have been fine, ground ginger ,cumin, cinnamon etc:)

Points signs taken down in my store for biscuits (to be fair, they only had the sign up against two flavours the other day anyway!), points still added to the receipt (10000 M and 10500 More for 21 packs).

Just hoping they haven't done a back system override so that it doesn't add the points - but as it is running "properly" according to their system then I suppose they would be hard pressed to withhold them? They could end their advertise 500 More points offer sooner than advertised (and get some potential flack from normal shoppers who don't bl know about the added bonus) as overriding the Match system would not be fair play? I would think taking down the signs is designed to not draw additional attention to it (worked in my store as fully stocked).

When I went back into Morribobs for 2nd biccy shopThey were busy taking the 'More points' signs down in my store too:eek: So dashed to checkout just in case:rotfl:
No problem:j and a sales assistant who was well impressed!
Hadn't bought my muggly bits of shopping (which of course I would have put through till separately !)
Couldn't face going back for a third time so popped into Mr T's - found a JF Frizz Ease RTC @ 80p:j

Mr Pops said on my return 'haven't you got a few of these already'

Oh yes, and the rest you haven't found yet!!

I bought 10 packs about half an hour ago lol and a couple of other things , silly Susie forgot to spend £15 though. So I went to the cs desk and said I want ed to give them back as I forgot I needed to spend £15 for the m & m to work. My spend was £12.29.

She said you haven t seen it on facebook have you where they pay 69p for loads of fox s biscuits . I said no because I hadn t lol. So she had the mither of refunding them all while I dashed back for 3 £1 packs of butter. Then she did it all again for me. FairPlay to her she was fine about it . :)

How did the refund affect the More points on the failed shop? Did she scan the card or did you keep the points?

Bought a blaady new (well, new to me) amp from ebay, tried to set it up last night and cant get any sound out of it. Dont know if I am doing anything stupid, or if it is just not working. To be fair, the seller musnt be the brightest, he only sent it wrapped in cardboard, the least it should have had is bubble wrap.

DH once bought a mug from ebay. The seller sent it in a very thin padded envelope. The postman dropped it in through the porch window  It smashed :rotfl:
