For anyone doing self-assessment HMRC forms, remember you have to submit by midnight tonight to avoid penalties - I have submitted 12 hours ahead of schedule :A.

Each year I think I will get them completed at my financial year end, and each year I never quite get round to completing them until the run up to the deadline. Next (this) year, I will try harder :).

If you have fixed your energy tariff and have some time to go before it runs out (or even a few months), it is still worth checking your tariff now using the MSE Cheap Energy Club (and check other comparison sites too). There have been significant changes in tariffs for new customers (greater savings than the announced cuts over recent weeks). I was on a First Utility fix which doesn't run out until the end of April, but the projected savings with the S Discount Fixed Tariff February 2016 of £360ish for our use (only on MSE Big Switch - the S Fix on other comparison sites is slightly more expensive) make it more than sensible for me to pay the £60 exit penalty (offset with the £30 MSE cashback) and switch now.

Sometimes it makes sense to pay an exit penalty (from energy, or mortgage) for greater savings.

Thanks Pepper. Please could you explain a little further? Do you mean the shelf edge labels have been removed or are the POINTS not showing on the receipt? Many TIA

Did my first biccy shop this morning (thanks AAU for the lists).
Shopped at about 11.15am, and 20500 points were showing on the app around 12.30pm.

Can you buy something cheap to get the voucher as soon as the points are showing on the app?

Was there a size 14.... you'll be in this size at summer!

Don't think I will be in size 14 after trying them on. I don't think I will lose much more from my legs before I am at goal :)

udis, shades. toothbrushes, prawn crackers all working as expected,
also biscuits worked this morning and vouchers showing, put a few packets in food bank trolley and some posh looking woman goes. " you dont have to give them branded biscuits the cheap stuff will do " the way she said them as if it was a bad taste in her mouth. I walked away but wish I had thought of a clever put down as she deserved it..

buy something cheap when the points on the app have dropped to less than 5000

That's when you know that your vouchers are ready to cash out

Don't thank me for the list, I was just compiling what everyone before me had gone out and tested
