I have spent £49.22 actual cash in January, I have a purse full of small wombles and APGs and also waiting to claim some APGs from C&Cs. I find it very difficult to track properly as I do not record value in APGs I start with each month. I do have a spreadsheet for my C&C APGs so I can see when I have gone over. I am really trying to stop shopping but how can you resist woopsies and you can not let APGs go out of date. Going to try and put £20 in a purse for fresh stuff and have £20 for C&Cs to top up C&Cs for Feb and see where I am at. Off to count my APGs now and will keep a log.
Should I go to Lidl in the morning? Wanted the turkey but do I need it? Decisions.
I love stuff like this
I set myself a grocery and cat food budget of £70 for January and am at £63.90 with a day to go. I could do one more M&S shop but probably won't as we have loads of stuff in. February's budget is going to be a more challenging £50. Bring it on.
I calculate purely by the amount of cash I have parted with, as there are so many variables otherwise.0 -
Nil return on the wombles tonight - that doesn't happen too often, didn't get many anyway. Too cold!
The Ratatouille sadly not picked up vs M. M 48p for 400g.
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Ratatouille (390g)£0.52N/A
I miss those quite often, initially, as well:rotfl:. Just keep forgetting to glance across to them and their price and, then, oh I've forgotten the Ratatouille, have to go back in! (To no avail:rotfl:.)
I don't know what was the matter, but they seem to have missed quite a few.
1 x ASDA White Baking Potatoes by Weight per kg£1.00N/A

Evening all Rant notice
Had a carp few months at work so resigned last week but had to have a meeting today Under contract I have to give 12 weeks notice
Boss wants me to stay on an extra week to train another new start who will be good at payroll as she at uni and her mum works with payroll :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I process several million pounds a year so the 1000+ staff will have their payroll managed by two staff with less than 6 months experience between them They are clever though
Really angry as she wants me to develop in house systems before I go although she ripped me to shreds with my PR on stuff that is not in my remit
Is it morally wrong to think... tell him/her to stuff it!100 -
