Good morning one and all - APG entered this morning for yesterday lunchtime shop.
Nutrigrain Breakfast Bars APPLE / STRAWBERRY / BLACKBERRY & APPLE all show as £1 paid in ASDA (this is actually correct at 3 for £3) and compare to Morries at £1.09, but Nutrigrain Blueberry shows as £1.98 paid and compares to Morries at £1.09 - so stock up with Blueberry!0 -

Oooooops! As far as I know ravens and other carrion birds only go for raw meat! Had a sparrow hawk in the garden once, it had managed to grab a pigeon! Made quite a mess!
Problem is, that fox is now going to be visiting your garden for a while looking for more, probably a good idea to protect anything delicate. We had a fox in once (that we know of) and it dug up all my tomato seedlings for some strange reason, the way it was dug up it was definitely a fox but a rather strange thing for it to do!!
Good luck with dealing with it.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Morning all
Enjoy your first day of freedom QoC :j
We went up into the loft yesterday to start clearing things out.
Loft is very soggyit seems water tight, it just suffers from a lot of condensation (won't be keeping stuff in loft in new house).
Need to asses the damage to everything that's been packed away all these years (looks like a rodents been eating at some too  )
Found my wedding dress still in it's ziplock bag, looking really dirty. Was so relieved it was just the bag was dirty and my dress is still spotless and doesn't smell :j tried it on again and it fits fine, which is gutting as I've lost a couple of stone since our wedding day :rotfl:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

you can reduce this with apg's to as low as you dare. but do not go into a negative or zero as shop will get cancelled. I leave cost at about £10
but each to their own
Not always easy when they have no stock of 2L bottles of Irn Bru or 1l bottles of Smirnoff !0 -

Just had another thought, PD - have you considered being a paid volunteer for clinical trials/drugs testing? One of the largest research facilities in Europe is in Hammersmith, for example

A week or so in nice accommodation, a chance to catch up on your reading or game-playing, or make a start on writing that cookery book, and get very well rewarded - around £2,000 per week.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
