Tempting x
Funnily enough we were talking about something similar the other night. We have a habit of playing punning/inappropriate songs for example songs that shouldn't be played at the Paralympics. We were listening to this on the way to Ts (warning, not for everyone, contains swears)

We were wondering what the lalas would listen to on the way, not that I'm guessing :rotfl:Sunshinemummy wrote: »PD, what is your ideal type of work/job?

You wouldn't catch me on a cruise ship me hearties!

Agreed! The closest thing I'd go on is the ferry to France, just so I could play 'I'm on a boat'

You will find your niche somewhere. until then you do what you are good at to bring the money in. Nothing wrong with that at all0 -
While you're about FC, a wee darting shout out for you.

you can reduce this with apg's to as low as you dare. but do not go into a negative or zero as shop will get cancelled. I leave cost at about £10
but each to their own
I've (accidentally) slipped into a negative shop once or twice. It never got cancelled, but the money went into a black hole. Certainly never saw a credit to my bank card!0 -

Agreed although pay for the Entertainment crew is very very good and no tax:D
This isn't the people who sing and dance this is the poor sods who arrange shuffleboard and work from 9 am through to around 10pm with limited breaks. Also the one who has to do the on board programme of events;). Officer status and same food passengers eat plus a very generous bar reduction helps.
Most do 3 or 4 years then have huge house deposit.
The poor philipinos earn from £400 a month down to £100. You tend to find the poor old souls who have to recycle all the bin contents are worst paid so get employee of the month most with a huge $50 incentive.
One girl on ship I worked on worked to 7 months pregnant and came back to sea when her dd was 12 weeks old. She was on a 10 month contract:eek::eek: shocking really.
American ships take a more varied staff for above decks but Americans at sea have to pay tax unlike bits.
Sorry one subject I know a fair bit about. If PD wants a job just let me know.
I really enjoyed my time on ship. Strange working all sorts of long and short hours most ports look the same but a few worth seeing.
