Isn't it strange that we always moan about what we've got but miss it when we haven't anymore.

Doesn't have to be catering work on a cruise ship, of course; I would have thought they are always looking for cleaners, maids, front-of-house staff, bar staff, etc, etc'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

But I'm right back on it nowI'm still young!
....my OH however is not so impressed at not having an on call wife anymore. He will get over itIt has actually been quite a battle of wits

Good on you. I was really young when I had the kids, and worked little jobs around the kids. When I went to work properly, it took my OH about 2 years to get his head around me having a career..... despite him moaning I think he quiet liked it (when he got his head around it him needing to do cooking/cleaning etc)
