If all the jobs on the card are for one company, explain and send them the card as is, they'll have played the data recovery game before.
Personally, fresh card for each job, and they're SanDisk s from a supermarket so less chance of a fake.
I don't mind paying well for my tools in any trade, it's just not worth the gamble when stuff let's you down.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -
GfK missing fee question:
I did a visit on 10 April and received the money I had to pay later that month but I never received the fee/reward for that visit. I emailed cybershoppay@gfk.com on 29 May asking why it hadn't been paid but they still haven't replied. Is this normal (first mystery shop with them)?
I would phone them. They may have made a mistake.0 -
Hi there everyone.
I just completed a first assignment with Marketforce.
I was a bit confused re: the spending limit. Is that an actual limit for the receipt or simply that if you go over, they won't pay out any more?
I purchased an extra item for a friend on my receipt (is this allowed?) and mentioned it was outside of the assignment purchases when I submitted the receipt. I submitted the amount spent as the full amount (£13) when the assignment only stated a spend limit of £9.75 and now I'm concerned that I might not get it back because I went over the 'limit' even though I was only expecting £9.75 as stated?
Also I went over on the three items I purchased by 8p. Obviously don't expect to get anything more than the stated amount back, but have I done it wrong?0 -

Sometimes the briefs state you should only buy one item and then if you are upsold something extra you can buy it.
It did ask me if I was upsold, but it didn't tell me if I could have it if it went over.
As I said my 3 items required (including the upsell) came to 8p over the "limit". However I purchased another £3 item on the same receipt. I just wanted to know whether that was wrong or not. I.e should be receipt always be the same as or below the spending limit?0 -
Wow have not posted here for years! Been busy and struggling with decreasing fees generally.
Anyone here still actually like Market Force? Damn, never thought I would miss Retail Eyes so much.
On a controversial note, found Gap increasing reasonable and supportive. I know a lot is about the relationship you build up but must say I think its a beast you have to learn to work with, like taling a dragon................ Have you ever wondered what

I try to stick to the requirement. Some briefs will state "you can buy more if you wish, but this will not be reimbursed".
This is to do with number of items.
Typically when it comes to cost, they are happy for you to spend over as the company makes profit of the portion you pay thats not reimbursed.
Sometimes its not clear and beware if there is a reimbursement of say 15, and you buy 1 item at 16 and one at 2, they may only reimburse you for the £2 (if they want to be idiots).
Sometimes its better to return shortly after for other purchase plus you get a chance to check you got details right... like was there music playing............... Have you ever wondered what
